7. Mitch Richmond, Moberly Area Community College
Richmond made the decision to attend JUCO Moberly Area Community College in an effort to prepare his body for the higher college level. In two years at Moberly, Richmond scored 1,023 points before making his way to Kansas State.
After his two seasons with the Wildcats, Richmond was selected fifth overall by the Golden State Warriors in the 1988 NBA Draft. Over his 14-year career, Richmond was named All-Star six times, All-NBA five times, the 1988-89 Rookie of the Year and won the 2002 NBA Finals with the Los Angeles Lakers. He was inducted into the Hall of Fame in 2014.
