4. Maryland
Maryland was a team that was interested in Towns when he first entered the portal coming out of Harvard. Though that was under a different coaching staff at the time, the Terrapins could still use Towns in the future.
The Terps lost two small forwards in the transfer portal with Ike Cornish and Hakim Hart going elsewhere. Maryland also lost some bench depth with sixth man Ian Martinez entering the portal last week as well. Though the Terrapins have added a few players in small forward Jordan Geronimo and guard Chance Stephens, they could still use some more help. Towns would provide not only another forward option, but he has some loose relationships with the Maryland coaching staff as former Ohio State assistant coach Tony Skinn was on the team鈥檚 staff last year.
