Top 10 hitters in the 2023 NCAA D-I softball tournament
5. Erin Coffel, INF, Kentucky
After an impressive second-team All-American performance last year, Coffel maintained her strong play as a junior, slashing .427/.626/.949 with 50 hits, 17 home runs and 51 RBIs. Her .949 slugging percentage ranks No. 4 in the nation while her 17 home runs rank tied for No. 17.
The Wildcats finished just outside of the May 9 Top 25 USA Softball poll and will play in the Evanston regional to begin the tournament. Led by Coffel, who was a top-25 finalist for USA softball player of the year, Kentucky has a chance to make some noise in the tournament.
There goes Erin Coffel again …
