10 best SEC softball players heading into the postseason
9. Jayda Kearney, OF, Georgia
Georgia has had plenty of talent on the field this season that has helped the Bulldogs to the second-best record in the SEC (16-7) and a strong 39-12 record overall, but one of the headliners has been Kearney. On the year, the Georgia outfielder ranks ninth in the conference with a .378 batting average, and has the third-most home runs in the league (18) to pair with 43 RBIs. Her 120 total bases and .839 slugging percentage also both rank in the top five in the SEC, while her 43 runs scored are in the top 10. The junior outfielder from New Jersey has been the catalyst for the Bulldogs’ offense this season, and she has the capability to lead Georgia on a deep run this spring if that continues.
