The Drew Timme era is finally over at Gonzaga and Nelson could be the new face of the Bulldogs. The 2023 NBA Draft hopeful (No. 72 on The Athletic鈥檚 Top 100 Big Board) led Gonzaga in points, rebounds, assists and blocks this past season which means head coach Mark Few has a challenge on his hands to replace that elite production. Nelson would be the perfect answer with his ability to be the focal point offensively and impact the game on the defensive end. The Bulldogs already landed Creighton transfer Ryan Nembhard out of the portal (No. 24 portal player) and could remain a national championship contender with the addition of Nelson.
