4. Citlaly Gutierrez, RHP, Texas
A Texas native, Gutierrez has a 1.91 ERA, the lowest among conference freshmen earned in 84.1 innings pitched, including 11 wins. Gutierrez has started 11 games throughout the regular season and has earned 60 strikeouts. She has been a crucial part of the Longhorns鈥� success – their conference record is 11-4 and their overall season is 39-9-1. Gutierrez pitched a season-high of nine strikeouts against Texas Southern back in February in just five innings. In high school, Gutierrez was ranked No. 36 overall and No. 15 as a pitcher in the Extra Innings Softball鈥檚 2022 Extra Elite 100 player rankings.聽
