Diamond Johnson enters transfer portal; Top 5 landing spots

Louisville is losing a lot of talent and leadership after a run to the Elite Eight for the fifth straight time. Hailey Van Lith is in the transfer portal and Chrislyn Carr has graduated. There are another four players graduating and an additional three entering the transfer portal, leaving Louisville with roster spots to fill. Head coach Jeff Walz has already been active in the portal but adding an ACC veteran like Johnson could keep Louisville鈥檚 chances of making a sixth straight Elite Eight high. Johnson has the ability to fill right in for Carr and recreate her output. She averaged 11 points, 2.3 rebounds, 2.6 assists and 1.1 steals for the Cardinals this season. Johnson could also bring leadership to a team that will need some as it tries to build chemistry with so many new faces.聽
