LJ Cryer enters transfer portal; 5 possible landing spots
3. Illinois
Last offseason, the Fighting Illini were able to get not one, but two transfers from Baylor in the form of Matthew Mayer and Dain Dainja. Cryer could be the next on that list if head coach Brad Underwood plays his cards right.
Underwood recruited Cryer out of high school when he was still head coach at Oklahoma State and that connection could pay major dividends. The Illini could use Cryer鈥檚 abilities from deep too as despite ranking in the top 50 in 3-point attempts per game, the team finished outside the top 150 in 3-pointers made per game and ranked No. 329 in 3-point percentage at just 30.80%
