When Nkamhoua was still a recruit, he showed a lot of love for the Pitt Panthers program. Back then, Pittsburgh was one of the three official visits the Finland native made.

Jeff Capel is still the Panthers head coach, so he is well aware of Nkamhoua’s game. While there may not be a clear opening on the roster today, as Pitt deployed two young players in the frontcourt last season, a team can never have too many solid big men. Nkamhoua could be the experienced piece that could join Blake Hinson to make a strong interior tandem while showing the ropes to fellow Finnish player Federiko Federiko.

Though a path to heavy contribution may not be a clear one, Nkamhoua could make for a good offensive weapon for the Panthers while elevating the team to another level after their Round of 32 appearance this season.
