Olivier Nkamhoua transferring: 5 possible landing spots
5. Providence
While this school may seem out of left field when it comes to Nkamhoua, as he was never recruited by the program as a high schooler, the fit would make a lot of sense now. The Friars recently announced the hiring of head coach Kim English, which makes Nkamhoua a potential target.
Though English came from a head coach role at George Mason, prior to that he was a top assistant coach for the Vols where he coached the forward from 2019-21 when he left for the Patriots. In addition to that connection, the two also share a Maryland connection as Nkamhoua went to Bishop Walsh School in Cumberland while English grew up in Baltimore and played for Randallstown High School.
Also, Providence will be losing last year鈥檚 starting forward Ed Croswell as he used all of his eligibility. With the Friars clear need and a connection to the coaching staff, Nkamhoua may feel that Providence is a solid option for his future.
