Ace Baldwin enters transfer portal; 5 possible landing spots

Head coach Jerome Tang knows how to use the transfer portal to build a strong team. In his first year as the Wildcats鈥� head coach, he only had two returning players on the roster; the rest of the spots he filled with players from the portal. Now Tang and Kansas State are losing many of the stars that brought them to the Elite Eight. Markquis Nowell and Keyontae Johnson are gone and Ismael Massoud has entered the transfer portal. Baldwin could come in and be a solid replacement for Nowell at point guard and help prepare incoming freshman point guard Dai Dai Ames. The VCU guard also has the defensive ability to play in the Big 12 and can be a catalyst for the offense. Tang has a bright future with the Wildcats but adding talent through the portal will be part of that.
