Ace Baldwin enters transfer portal; 5 possible landing spots
RICHMOND, Va. (BVM) 鈥� Adrian 鈥淎ce鈥� Baldwin Jr. is entering the transfer portal after having the best season of his collegiate career. The junior guard let the Rams in points, assists and steals. Baldwin averaged 12.7 points, 5.8 assists and 2.2 steals while shooting 34.2% from three and 42.1% from the field. He led VCU to a 27-8 record and an A-10 title. Baldwin was named A-10 Player of the Year, Defensive Player of the Year, all-defensive team and first-team All-Conference.聽

The 6-foot-1 guard was a pivotal piece in one of the best defenses in the nation. Baldwin鈥檚 2.2 steals per game was one of the best in the nation. With him leading the Rams, VCU made it to March Madness but Baldwin got injured in the second half of the Rams鈥� first-round game against St. Mary鈥檚. VCU ended up losing and then after head coach Mike Rhoades left to become the head coach at Penn State, Baldwin entered the portal.聽
