Top 10 Indiana high school baseball players in Class of 2023
5. Bishop Letson, RHP, Floyd Central
Whether on the mound at Floyd Central or for the Rawlings Tigers, Letson has continued to impress over the past couple of years, and has emerged into not only one of the top players in Indiana, but also a potential MLB draft pick this summer. Following a breakout sophomore season, the 6-foot-4, 175-pound right-handed pitcher was tremendous again as a junior, putting up special performances such as his start in Floyd Central鈥檚 win over the No. 1-ranked team in Kentucky, St. Xavier, in which he allowed just one run and two hits while striking out five. Letson showed well throughout the summer as well, and recently impressed at the Prep Baseball Report Super 60 Showcase where his fastball reached 94 mph. The Purdue commit should only keep getting better for the Highlanders this spring.
