Most men鈥檚 basketball March Madness bids without NCAA title
29 – St. John鈥檚
While the Red Storm did have a dominant run from the late 1970s to the early 2000s, they are still without a national title.
Unfortunately for St. John鈥檚, it has fallen on hard times recently, not making the field since 2019 and haven鈥檛 won a tournament game since 2000. The program鈥檚 best chance at a title came all the way back in 1952 when it lost to the Kansas Jayhawks, 80-63. With the recent firing of head coach Mike Anderson, it appears the team is still a couple of years away from a tournament appearance.
