8. Aydan Hamilton, SS, Campbell County
Hamilton enters his senior season after a phenomenal junior campaign. The 6-foot-2, 160-pound shortstop is ranked as the No. 13 player in the state by Perfect Game and the No. 4 player by PBR.
During his 2022 campaign, Hamilton led the Campbell County Camels with a .490 batting average with 26 runs scored, 24 hits, 21 RBIs, six doubles and three home runs. He also finished No. 43 in the state with a .796 slugging percentage. Hamilton鈥檚 performance helped Campbell County to a Region 10 championship and a spot in the second round of the Kentucky High School Athletic Association Baseball State Tournament as he was named a first-team all-state selection by the .
Given his strong junior year, it comes as no surprise that Hamilton has a future in the college ranks. The shortstop signed with the Kentucky Wildcats in the fall, keeping yet another top recruit in the state.
