After Marcum finishes his high school career, he will be heading about 20 minutes east to play at the University of South Carolina. But in the meantime, he will get the chance to further prove why he is one of the best pitchers in the state. Already possessing a solid three-pitch mix with a fastball sitting in the low 90s, the Gamecocks鈥� coaching staff is likely salivating at the idea of getting Marcum on campus.
