Top 10 Missouri high school baseball players in Class of 2023
2. Nazzan Zanetello, SS, Christian Brothers College
Zanetello would likely check in as the top Class of 2023 prospect in a lot of states, and is one of the most talented shortstops in the entire country. He is also seen as a potential early-round MLB draft pick this summer. Before that happens, Zanetello will conclude what has been a strong career at CBC. In his first season on the diamond for CBC as a sophomore, Zanetello hit an impressive .386 with a .703 slugging percentage, racking up five home runs, 30 RBIs and 22 runs. The 6-foot-2 shortstop put up similar numbers in his junior year last season, hitting .363 with 29 RBIs and 35 runs for the Cadets. Zanetello has gained some additional invaluable experience playing with USA Prime National, the MLB/USA Baseball Prospect Development Pipeline and USA Baseball over the past year. The Arkansas commit has all the makings of a star at the next level.
