Top 10 Ohio high school baseball players in Class of 2023
9. Nik Copenhaver, RHP, Badin
Copenhaver helped lead Badin to plenty of success last season as the Rams made a run to the state semifinals. The 6-foot-4, right-handed pitcher improved on what had already been a strong sophomore season last year as he boasted a 2.33 ERA, giving up just 29 hits, 16 earned runs and 22 walks while striking out 70 batters. Coming off a strong summer playing with the Cincinnati Spikes, Copenhaver will look to lead Badin on another deep postseason run as a senior before taking his talents to Washington State after officially signing with the Cougars last November.
RHP Nik Copenhaver (OH, 2023) worked two scoreless this morning. FB 88-91 T92 with good armside run, SL 76-81 with big spin rates and a lot of whiffs. Big body, low slot is creating really tough angles for RHH. Washington State commit.
