Top 10 Maryland HS baseball players in Class of 2023
5. Antonio Perrotta, 1B, Georgetown Prep
While it may be difficult for a player to stand out on a team filled with D-I baseball talent, that鈥檚 exactly what Perrotta did for the Little Hoyas last season. The 6-foot-4, 230-pound first baseman led Georgetown Prep to a 24-7 record and their third consecutive Interstate Athletic Conference baseball championship.
Individually, Perrotta is set to take his play to the collegiate level ranking as the No. 11 player in the state by PBR and the No. 3 player by Perfect Game. On national signing day, Perrotta signed his NLI to join the baseball program at the University of Virginia, one of the country鈥檚 top college baseball programs. As a senior this spring, Perrotta will look to lead the Little Hoyas to their fourth straight IAC championship.
