5. Leighton Mercurius, OF/RHP, Faith Lutheran
The outfielder and right-handed pitcher has shined on both sides during his time at Faith Lutheran and The Meadows School, working his way into becoming one of the top arms in the class. Mercurius was as a standout during his time at the 鈥淒REAM Series鈥� which showcases elite athletes from across the country during the Martin Luther King Jr. holiday weekend. With his improved work on the mound, the two-sport star should be one of the most talked about names before making the move to UNLV following his senior year.
