Top 10 Nevada high school baseball players in Class of 2023
6. Anthony Marnell IV, C, Bishop Gorman
With 17 games of varsity experience his sophomore year, the Bishop Gorman catcher made the most of a full campaign behind the plate as he improved in almost every category. Batting .295 with 13 hits and 16 RBIs back in 2021, Marnell exploded as a junior reaching the .450 mark in 2022, with 32 hits and 18 RBIs. As Marnell looks to once again follow up his previous campaign, the Gaels senior will be searching for an even deeper playoff run as Bishop Gorman aims to make up for its state championship loss. With a loaded lineup and pitching staff set to appear in the upcoming year, look for Marnell to be the engine behind the Gaels鈥 playoff hopes.
Productive start to the fall for the 2023 commit Anthony Marnell, IV. Here is 6 swings from his first event. The sky鈥檚 the limit for this switching hitting catcher鈿撅笍馃挭馃徎 @PBR_Nevada
