Top 10 Texas high school baseball players in Class of 2023
6. Zane Adams, LHP, Porter
Adams was another Texas high schooler selected to compete in the PG All-American Classic and has seen a big increase in velocity over the past year. With a fastball that tops out at 94 mph and a pair of offspeed pitches at his disposal, Adams is arguably the best left-handed pitcher in the state of Texas. He was the District Newcomer of the Year as a sophomore when he posted a 1.25 ERA with 92 strikeouts across 72 innings. The 6-foot-4, 180-pound senior lost his junior campaign to a season-ending injury suffered on the base paths, but he’s still committed to Alabama.

CH: 84-86An electric look at the signee. The 6’4 lefty struck out 6 in 2 inn. of work. Showed glove side command of FB and a hard CB w/ quality depth.
