7. TJ Pompey, SS, Coppell
Pompey was one of just five Texas high school baseball players selected to compete in the 20th annual Perfect Game All-American Classic last August. A total of 250 PG All-American Classic participants have gone on to play Major League Baseball and Pompey has all the tools to add his name to that list. He was named MVP of District 6-6A as a junior for his 8-3 record on the mound to go along with a 1.08 ERA and 62 strikeouts, but he鈥檚 even more special at the plate and in the field. The 6-foot-3, 180-pound right-handed hitter has a sweet, balanced stroke and 6.56 speed to pair with his innate athleticism. Pompey is headed to play baseball at Texas Tech and one day, he鈥檒l find himself in the Major 海角社区.
