Every Heisman Trophy winner to win a Super Bowl championship
Marcus Allen, Los Angeles Raiders, Super Bowl XVIII
A teammate of Plunkett鈥檚 during the Raiders Super Bowl XVIII championship, Allen is perhaps the most decorated Heisman Trophy winner of all time. During his senior year at USC, Allen totaled 2,447 rushing yards and 23 touchdowns (22 rushing, one receiving) while leading the Trojans to a national championship.
As the Raiders starting running back in Super Bowl XVIII, Allen rushed for 191 yards and two touchdowns on his way to Super Bowl MVP honors. With those honors, Allen became the first player to win a Heisman, national championship, Super Bowl and Super Bowl MVP and he remains the only member of that exclusive club to date.
35 years later, 鈥檚 brilliant 74-yard touchdown might still be the best run in Super Bowl history.
