While the Army Black Knights may no longer hold the record for the largest margin of victory in a bowl game, they still possess a share of the most points in a bowl victory. In the 2018 Armed Forces Bowl against Houston, Army scored 70 points in a rout over the Cougars where they won 70-14.
The usually slow triple-option offensive scheme was unstoppable in this contest, as Black Knights ran for 507 yards and eight touchdowns while only attempting four passes. Army was also never stopped on third down, converting all seven attempts. If that wasn鈥檛 enough, the Black Knights defense also recovered two fumbles, including returning one 23 yards for a touchdown.
