In one of the most memorable national championships of all time, Watson didn鈥檛 let the bright lights get to him. The Clemson Tigers signal-caller threw for 420 yards with three touchdowns while rushing for 43 more yards and another score.
The biggest play came when Watson connected on a touchdown pass to wide receiver Hunter Renfrow to take a 35-31 lead over reigning champion Alabama with just one second left. During the game, Watson broke his own record for most passing yards in a championship game, cementing his legacy in college football history.
