1. Vince Young, QB, Texas (2006 Rose Bowl)
In another historically significant game, Young鈥檚 performance for the Texas Longhorns barely edges out Watson鈥檚 game. Going up against two-time defending national champion USC with two Heisman Trophy winners on the roster, Young proved that despite long odds he was going to will Texas to the national championship.
Young went 30-for-40 with 267 passing yards while rushing 19 times for 200 more yards and three scores on the ground. The QB also committed zero turnovers. The biggest play of the game came when Young scored an 8-yard touchdown run on fourth-and-5 with 19 seconds left to win the national title and keep the Trojans from a three-peat.
