2. Matt Birk, C, Cretin-Derham Hall
Birk played in the NFL for 14 seasons with the Minnesota Vikings and Baltimore Ravens. The center was a six-time pro bowler and two-time second team All-Pro with the Vikings, who drafted him in the sixth round of the 1998 NFL Draft. As a Raven, he was a part of a 2012 Baltimore team that won Super Bowl XLVII. Birk retired after the Super Bowl victory putting an end to a career that started at Cretin-Derham High School then took the St. Paul native to Harvard and eventually to the NFL. Birk received the Walter Payton NFL Man of the Year in 2011, started 187 of the 210 games he played in and is considered one of the of all time.
