7. Ethan Middleton, Jr., St. Rita

With now Ohio State freshman Kaleb Brown injured a majority of last season and backup running back Kyle Clayton suffering an injury later in the year, Middleton was called upon to fill a void for St. Rita and he truly excelled. Middleton put together some tremendous performances down the stretch, and finished the year with 545 yards and three touchdowns, averaging nearly seven yards per carry. The 5-foot-11, 180-pound Middleton is a tremendous athlete who can play all over the field, and his diverse skill set has made him a recruiting target for a pair of Big Ten schools in Wisconsin and Penn State.
