Top 10 Minnesota HS football players in Class of 2023
6. Sam Peters, TE – Maple Grove
Sam Peters enters his senior year with a chance to get back to the state championship. The 6-foot-4, 225-pound tight end was a part of a Maple Grove High School football team that gave Lakeville South one of its toughest games of the season in the state championship. The Crimson lost 13-7, but enter this season with a good chance to make it back. Peters will be a key passing option for the offense. Last season, he was a big play threat averaging 29.3 yards per reception, and in the state quarterfinals, his one catch was an 82-yard touchdown against Woodbury. Peters is committed to Minnesota and has been since early June.
Huge state quarterfinal win over a very good Woodbury team 31-12, here鈥檚 a clip of my 82 yard touchdown. @OliverJamesWes1
