Top 10 Indiana HS football players in Class of 2023
2. Joshua Mickens, DE, Lawrence Central聽
While Mickens鈥 Lawrence Central team isn鈥檛 quite as good as some of the others on this list, he did help the Bears improve from a winless squad in 2020 to a 4-7 record last season. Part of that improvement is because of the absolute dominance of the 6-foot-5 standout on the defensive line. Last season, Mickens racked up 78 tackles, 23 tackles for loss, 12 sacks and five forced fumbles. A top-150 prospect in the 2023 class, Mickens committed to LSU this summer where he will look to be a key cog for Brian Kelly鈥檚 defense in the future.
