St. Mary’s Women’s Golf Wins Lone Star Championship, Secures NCAA Bid
ROCKWALL, Texas — The No. 16 St. Mary’s University Women’s Golf team won the Lone Star Conference Championship, defeating No. 2 DBU 4-1 in the semifinals and West Texas A&M 3-2 in the finals of medal match play on Wednesday. It is the first Lone Star Conference title for the Women’s Golf team and the fourth in school history, as the Rattlers also won the Heartland Conference titles in 2002, 2004, and 2016.
