St. John’s Softball Falls in Series Finale at Providence
PROVIDENCE, R.I. — The St. John's softball team fell to Providence, 6-0, on Sunday afternoon in the finale of a three-game BIG EAST series at Glay Field. The Red Storm (26-16, 6-9 BIG EAST) recorded two hits in the contest with Madison Konopka and Natasha Limbani each recording singles. Ana Serafinko went the distance in the circle, recording nine strikeouts on 140 pitches. Sunday's performance marked the senior southpaw's second consecutive showing with eight strikeouts or more.
