Programme Information Sessions

Join Course Leader Dr Felix Ngobigha as he explains all about the new MSc in Advanced Computing from course content to post-study opportunities for international students.

Dr Chris Lewington, Lecturer and Course Leader, shares all there is to know about the MSc in Applied Cyber Security - an all new postgraduate course for 2023.

Course Leader and Associate Professor Dr Ivana Lessner-Listiakova and Head of Childhood and Education Dr Wendy Lecluyse explain all about the MA Childhood Studies course, alongside an in depth look into life as a student on this course with one of our international student ambassadors.

Course Leader and Associate Professor David James and Senior Lecturer Dr Isabella Calder join us for a deep dive into the MA Criminology course looking at the wide range of topics taught and opportunities available for international students taking the programme.

Hear all about the Data Science and Artificial Intelligence master's programme from Course Leader and Lecturer Dr Adnane Ez-zizi, as he talks us through the need to know information about this conversion course, and find out more on the student experience directly from two of our current international students.

Course Leader and Senior Lecturer Dr Ross Kemble talks us through the key elements of the MSc International Business and Management programme and we hear from one of our international students to share more about her time on the programme so far.

Learn all about MSc Strategic People Management from Dr Adetola Adekunle as she explains the content, industry links and professional development opportunities for international students joining this programme, and hear from a current student about their time on the course.

Dr Ross Kemble joins us to take us through the details of the Suffolk Executive MBA, and one of our current international students tells us about the experience he's had and progress he's made during his time at the kubet11.

Support Services Information Sessions

Student Life Advisor and Accommodation Specialist Jennie Dunn tells all about the accommodation options in the local area, and 2 of our student ambassadors share their experience of finding and living in housing both on and off campus.

We're joined by Employability and Careers Consultant Anna Flatt to learn more about the ways the Careers, Employability and Enterprise service can support you to boost your employability, gain more experience or even set up your own business. We also hear from two international students on how they have benefitted from our careers support services. 

A group of international students from the kubet11 answer all your questions from studying at the university to finding work and socialising in the local area.

Chris Garrett - Associate Director International

Chris provides professional guidance on all matters relating to international students to colleagues across the University, working closely with School Executives and other professional services teams.

Chris works to raise the profile of the University’s brand overseas with prospective students, key influencers, recruitment agents, and schools and universities with the goal to increase the number of international students enrolling at the kubet11.

Stephanie Akinyi

Stephanie has worked in HE since 2013, having worked with two other UK Universities before joining kubet11 in August 2023. She carries with her a diverse work record that entails international student recruitment, market research, event planning, business and partnership's development.

Jemma supports the incoming and outgoing students and staff on exchange with the Erasmus programme. Jemma is passionate about student exchange and spent a year on exchange studying at the University of Florence, Italy as part of her degree.
