Canada鈥檚 Cal Quantrill exits start early vs. Blue Jays
The Toronto Blue Jays' pitching-injury luck appears to be rubbing off on their opponents. Rangers right-hander Cal Quantrill left his start against the Blue Jays on Saturday after just 1.1 innings with an unspecified injury. Quantrill got George Springer to ground out on an 88 m.p.h. fastball 鈥� six m.p.h. lower than his season average of 94 鈥� and was then visited by manager Skip Schumaker and the training staff before being removed. The 31-year-old Canadian also left his previous start on Sunday with back tightness, but told reporters that he was fine and expected to make his next start....
