First stride, first place: Jaguars boys’ cross-country team roars past their opponents at their first meet

After each athlete poured their all into their race, the boys waited for the results as their anticipation grew by the second. Reminders of their hard work leading up to the moment rushed over them; every streak of sweat, drop of blood, and tear shed was worth the potential rewards the team could reap. As the meet concluded, it was announced that the Jaguars won first place in their first official meet of the season.…
