SMITHFIELD, RI.-- The Merrimack Field Hockey team were defeated by the Bryant Bulldogs on Friday afternoon. Emily Beichert opened the scoring in the game in the first five minutes, which was her second goal in as many games. Bryant would tie the score at the end of the first quarter and would score three goals each in the subsequent periods.
