Alexa Shamus Sophia Alan throws her body to make the set. Using all of the strength to move her body under the ball and assist the hitter. As she entered her teenage years, Sophia Alan made a commitment to the Pembroke Pines Charter High School (PPCHS) varsity volleyball team. Balancing schoolwork and the sport she loves has never been the easiest task. However, Alan knew she could do it from the beginning.
