WNCC volleyball goes 1-1 in final day of Reiver Invite
COUNCIL BLUFFS, Iowa 鈥� The Western Nebraska Community College volleyball team received 21 kills from Keira Zelada and the Cougars defeated Jefferson College in five sets on Saturday to wrap up the Reiver Invite. WNCC went 1-1 on the second day, topping Jefferson College 25-17, 21-25, 26-24, 22-25, 15-8 before falling to No. 18 College of Southern Idaho 25-17, 25-22, 25-15. WNCC finished the tournament going 1-3, after falling to Iowa Western Community College and Dodge City Community College on Friday.
