Mitchell departs Little League Classic after taking HBP to forearm
WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. -- Brewers center fielder Garrett Mitchell was hit by a pitch on the right forearm after squaring to bunt in the fourth inning of Sunday’s Little League Classic and had to leave the game. Rookie outfielder Luis Lara took over on defense in the fifth for Mitchell, a 27-year-old 2020 first-round Draft pick whose health this season has been a leading factor in his breakout.
