Stars Finish Invitational at 4-0
OKLAHOMA CITY 鈥� Oklahoma City moved to 4-0 on the season with a pair of wins in the Stars Invitational on Saturday. It is OCU volleyball’s first 4-0 start since the 2020-21 COVID season. OCU swept LSU-Shreveport, 25-23, 25-21, 25-22, before rallying for a 3-2 win over Texas A&M-Texarkana, 18-25, 29-27, 22-25, 25-16, 15-12. Against LSUS, Kacie Townsend led with a dozen kills with Natalie Adams providing 26 assists. Ryan Leland had three aces. Maddie Edwards and Townsend had three blocks each/ Grace Smallwood led the Stars with 13 digs, followed by Kate Cleofe with 12 and Leland with 10.…
