Hillcrest, Parkview football adjust schedules due to Central鈥檚 canceled season
SPRINGFIELD 鈥� Changes have been made to Hillcrest and Parkview football鈥檚 schedule before the start of the 2026 season. Springfield Public Schools athletic director Josh Scott confirmed the changes to The News-Leader. Hillcrest and Parkview were both slated to play Central this season. The Bulldogs will not be playing a varsity schedule this season for the second consecutive year. Central's lack of numbers is the main reason for the team not fielding a varsity squad.
