Comets Soccer Tournament Next Week
The annual Comets Boys Soccer Tournament will be held at Tom Doll Field in Greenville next week. Four teams are playing each of the three days. They include Greenville, Lebanon, Pinckneyille and Salem. Action begins Tuesday, August 25 with the Comets against Lebanon at 4 p.m., followed by Pinckneyville against Salem. On Thursday, August 27, the Comets will meet Pinckneyville at 5:45 p.m. The first game at 4 is Lebanon-Salem. The tournament ends Saturday, August 29 with the Comets playing Salem at 9 a.m. Pinckneyville battles Lebanon at 11. All games will feature 30 minute halves. If regulation time ends...
