UIS Welcomes Mara Martinez as Assistant Golf Coach
The UIS athletics department is pleased to announce the hiring of Mara Martinez as the new Assistant Coach for the UIS golf program. Martinez will be working with both the men's and women's teams. Mara Martinez , originally from Spain, joins UIS after completing her collegiate playing career at Emmanuel University. During her time there, she earned First Team All-Conference honors and was named Conference Carolinas Golfer of the Week on six occasions and earned multiple collegiate victories.
