Spurlin Named to Comeback Player of the Year Award Watch List
FORT COLLINS 鈥� Pearce Spurlin III landed on the Comeback Player of the Year Award Watch List. College Sports Communicators in association with The Associated Press (AP) and Fiesta Sports Foundation, released a Watch List of 94 college football student-athletes from 59 different schools currently under consideration for the 2026 Comeback Player of the Year Award. Spurlin, a transfer from Georgia was told in February of 2024 by doctors that he could no longer play football due to a congenital heart condition.
