COLUMBIA, S.C. – It was announced by ESPN Thursday (Aug. 20) that the South Carolina softball team will play in the Shriners Children’s Clearwater Invitational for the second time in program history this February. The 2027 Shriners Children’s Clearwater Invitational will take place February 18–21 at the Eddie C. Moore Complex in Clearwater, Florida. The Gamecocks will play five games over four days, returning to the event for the first time since 2020.
