August 21, 2026 Recently served as head coach at Iowa Central CC UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. – Matthew Ramirez has been hired as Penn State Women’s Rugby Head Coach. Ramirez takes over the Nittany Lions program after serving as head coach of the women’s rugby team at Iowa Central CC for the 2025-26 season. He helped to launch the Iowa Central CC women’s rugby program. From 2021-25, Ramirez was the women’s rugby head coach at Central Washington University.
