FAIRBANKS - The Alaska Nanooks hockey team has announced the addition of Kyle Powers. Powers hails from Ottawa, Ont. and spent two full seasons with the Charlottetown Islanders in the QMJHL before spending the majority of 2025-26 with Baie-Comeau Drakkar in the QMJHL. "Powers is going to transition to college hockey in a big way," said head coach Erik Largen. "He can skate, check, and play the game hard and heavy.
