The Pioneers (1-0) started their season with a win over Logan Elm in an offensive slugfest. Running back Brice Johnson tied his own single-game school record with five rushing touchdowns in the victory while tallying 220 yards on the ground. He was flanked by teammate Jake Stauffer added north of 100 rushing yards and a score, alongside a 51-yard touchdown reception.
