Women鈥檚 Soccer falls to Eagles
ROCK HILL, S.C. 鈥� Looking to finish a three-game road swing with a win, the VMI women's soccer team fell just short of the goal as host Winthrop earned a 1-0 victory over the Keydets Thursday night in Rock Hill, South Carolina. The Keydets (0-3-0) battled to a 0-0 draw with the Eagles (1-2-0) at halftime as Winthop was unsuccessful on 10 shot attempts in the opening period. Winthrop's Mia Silber put the Eagles on the board early in the second half scoring in the 51st minute (50:04) on an unassisted goal in what proved to be the game winner....
